Services

Behavioral Health Services seeks to promote the development of pro-social behaviors. The individuals served and their teams, in consultation with behavioral health professionals, work together to achieve personal goals.

A primary function of Behavioral Health Services is monitoring the provision of related services and support systems such as the Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Intervention, therapeutic groups, and individual counseling as well as behavioral data collection and assessment methodologies. Although individuals may receive direct services through internal sources, staff also links individuals with behavioral health professionals in the community wherever appropriate.

Behavioral Health staff ensures that residential team members are trained in relevant topics such as therapeutic behavioral intervention, crisis intervention and prevention. Staff provide services based on a referral process and will primarily provide consulting services.

Transportation

Transportation and van service may also be available for persons within Jefferson County, including those individuals in wheelchairs. A transportation charge is determined according to the distance a client lives from the their travel destination.
