March 21st, some of our individuals participated at the Madison Capitol for Disability Advocacy Day. This is a day-long event focused on connecting Self-Advocates with their legislators to talk about issues that matter to them. Our individuals had the opportunity to share their agendas including funding, transportation, voting rights and more with Representative Scott L. Johnson , Wisconsin State Senator John Jagler‘s staff and Senator Stephen Nass’s staff. Thank you to the staff who focused their day on transporting and their support alongside the individuals sharing their perspective.
