Keith Greenwald, age 56
We are saddened to report that Keith Greenwald, who lived at the Suffied home, has passed away (Friday, March 21). Keith came to Wisconsin when he was 17 years old and later moved to Illinois. He’s been served by St. Coletta for 39 years and will be missed by his family, friends and St. Coletta family. More information on Keith funeral will be sent when available.

Keith Joseph Greenwald Obituary
With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of Keith Joseph Greenwald of Arlington Heights, IL, on March 21, 2025. Keith was born in Woodstock, IL November 7, 1968 to Frank and Grace Greenwald.
Keith has lived a life of service through his dependence on the care of others. He loved sports, classic rock, movies, cheeseburgers and his time with family and friends. Keith enjoyed the Achieve day program where he was an inaugural member. The sensory room with music playing was a favorite. At Suffield house Keith appreciated birthday parties for himself and all his housemates as well as holiday celebrations and outings, especially restaurants. He was fond of expressing his care and appreciation of others by saying “God Bless You (insert name)”. He also did not hesitate to express his disinterest in something by saying “No Thank You (insert name)”. Keith and his siblings were raised to be polite and Keith practiced that well.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim Greenwald. He is survived by siblings: Catherine (Steve) Kilburn, Carolyn (Timothy) Horton and Toby (Sue) Greenwald, nieces Kelly Kilburn, Casey Tellez, Emily Horton and nephew, Mark Horton. Keith leaves behind a loving community at St. Coletta’s of WI, including Tark, Craig, Mark, Eddie, David and Dan, his housemates of 23 years.
Memorial Gathering for Keith will be held at St Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 6004, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Memorial Mass will follow the visitation also at St Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 6004 at 10:00 am. Interment with prayers will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 667 Jackson Street, Woodstock, IL 60098 on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Coletta of Wisconsin or call at 920-674-4330.
