Art Pennington joined St. Coletta in 2018, after 50 years as a software designer and entrepreneur. He has authored several books explaining his unique approach to software and has been awarded several patents for his software innovations.

He first became aware of St. Coletta in the early 90s, while researching residential placements for his three special needs daughters. All three entered St. Coletta shortly after, and he began 25 years of weekly trips from his Chicago home for visits.

Art eventually “Retired” to Jefferson as a driver for St Coletta and created software to manage the transportation operation in his spare time. In 2022 he became the manager of transportation and later Director. He now oversees expansion of services into the community to help solve critical rural transportation needs and increase revenue to St. Coletta. He still creates software when he sees opportunities for his skills to make a difference.
