Robert (Bob) Schmidt has been with St. Coletta for over 12 years and was serving as the Director of Employment and Education overseeing the Genesis Program, Community Employment, VSTP, and Recreation. in 2021, Bob was named Director, Intergenerational Care Center – Jefferson. Originally Bob was hired in November of 2000 to assist the program manager of Affirmative Industries in the position of Manager of Industrial Operations. In 2002, the safety committee was started and he was elected the representative for the vocational departments. In 2003, he was named chairman of the St. Coletta Safety Committee and is still currently serving in this position. In 2005, he was named the sole manager for Affirmative Industries which has lead him to his current position. He was named St. Coletta Employee of the Month in January 2003 and has earned his five and Ten Year Certificated of Accomplishment with St. Coletta in 2006 & 2011. He is also a certified Fire Safety Trainer for the State of Wisconsin. Bob has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology Management from UW-Platteville and his Master’s degree in Business from Cardinal Stritch University.
