Part of Who I Am…
Join us in support of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) at St. Coletta of Wisconsin! This year’s theme is “My Disability is One Part of Who I Am”. This year also marks the 70th anniversary of the first observance of employees with disabilities. NDEAM originated in 1945, when Congress declared the first week in October each year “National Employ the Physically Handicapped Week.” Later, in 1988, Congress expanded the week to a month and changed the name to National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
