Genesis Educational Program
St. Coletta of Wisconsin is proud to introduce the Genesis Educational Program, a new service for young adults with disabilities ages 16-23 that provides extended education in a number of areas that will ensure for a more successful future on a personal and professional level with their community.
During the program, students are introduced to specialized courses that will enhance their current level of abilities. Classes include finance management, technology, career exploration, health & wellness and functional living skills.
While general courses are available to all students, specialty classes are available for those interested in specific career paths such as nursing, food service and business.
St. Coletta will provide support to help students gain the ability to work in a field of their choice. Recently, two Genesis students enrolled in the MATC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and are working to fulfill their degrees.
Having an established rate of success for people that participate in our programs and services, we are confident students leaving our programs will more employable and have a better chance of living independently.
